Former WBO heavyweight champion Lamon Brewster knows a thing or two about what makes WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko tick. Brewster was the last man to beat the Ukrainian, stopping him in 5 rounds ten years ago in April, 2004. Brewster was later stopped by Klitschko in their 2007 rematch.

After their first fight, Brewster said that he knew Wladimir would bounce back and become a great fighter.

"Wladimir is on top of his game right now.  I am proud of him.  When I beat him I told people not to give up on him. I was the better man that night.  I was better prepared.  That's what it was," said Brewster.

The 41-year-old Brewster doesn't think that many of the current crop of heavyweights can beat the 6'6" Klitschko. One fighter that he does give a good chance to topple the heayweight king is Deontay Wilder (32-0, 32KOs).

The 6'9" Wilder faces WBC heavyweight champion Bermane Stiverne on January 17th and if he wins a unification fight against Klitschko could happen in the near future.

"I think Wilder could do it now.  I mean he got Mark Breland in his corner.  He has one of the best trainers since Eddie Futch. That is just my opinion.  I don't take anything away from Wladimir.  He is a great fighter but I have been boxing since I was 7 and I am 41 now and that is just my two cents. I believe that Wilder is at the point where he could beat him now with the right training camp," Brewster told BoxingScene.com.
