A recent report by Dan Rafael revealed that negotiations between promoter Don King and HBO, regarding the pay-per-view telecast of Felix Trinidad vs. Roy Jones Jr., have not gone very well.

Rafael says that a major disagreement over the value of the delayed broadcast rights has led King to begin serious talks with HBO's rival, Showtime. King came in to New York this week and held meetings with Showtime and Madison Square Garden, the venue of choice for the pay-per-view.
