UFC President Dana White has reacted to Tyson Fury's recent rant about challenging UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez next. Fury is scheduled to take on former two-division champion David Haye on September 28th in Manchester. Should he defeat Haye, who is listed as a heavy favorite, Fury promised to challenge Velasquez live on television.

“After I beat Haye I want to fight Cain Velasquez,” said Fury to the Manchester Evening News. “100 percent. Not Klitschko straight away because he’s going to faff around. He’s not going to fight. I want someone who will fight. Velasquez will fight. I’m going to call him out after I beat David Haye. It’s going to be on HBO live in America so the whole of the country is going to hear it. I want to fight him in a cage. It’s no joke, I will fight Velasquez after I beat Haye. If [UFC President] Dana White can put up the money, it’ll happen. He’s already put an offer forward of £1.5m."

White was annoyed. He says Fury is using Velasquez's name to gain recognition. Fury's talk is getting to White. The UFC Prez would love to see Velasquez do damage to Fury. He predicts the fight would last as long as James Toney's challenge of UFC legend Randy Couture in 2010. Couture easily defeated Toney in the first round via submission.

"Nobody knew who this dude was until he started calling out Cain Velasquez number one. Number two, Cain Velasquez has real guys to fight like Junior dos Santos and other guys in the heavyweight division. But I'll tell ya this, if Cain Velasquez continues on his run and runs through everybody, I would love to see Cain smash that fool. First of all he would come in here and it wouldn't be boxing, it would be MMA. If he wants to fight Cain Velasquez, he'll fight him MMA. That fight would last about as long as James Toney did," White told MMA Mania.
