Light heavyweight prospect Conor Wallace will be in action in the co-feature slot of the May 13 card headlined by cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia against Claudio Squeo, according to Tasman Fighters.
The show will stream on DAZN.
Wallace, 15-1 (11 KOs), is a 28-year-old from Northern Ireland now living in Fortitude Valley, a suburb of Brisbane in Queensland, Australia. He’s fought his entire professional career in Australia, and that will continue for this upcoming show at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Broadbeach.
Wallace’s opponent for May 13 has not yet been announced.
Wallace fought three times in 2024, stopping the 7-0 Jack Gipp in six rounds, taking a 12-round split decision over the 18-1 Jerome Pampellone and putting away the 7-0-1 Asemahle Wellem in eight rounds.
Wallace’s lone loss was to Leti Leti via majority decision in April 2021; he won their rematch via sixth-round knockout in November 2022
Wallace is ranked No. 2 by the IBF, No. 6 by the WBC and No. 7 by the WBO.
