Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is tired of sitting back and keeping quiet. The "Pretty Boy" is coming out of his shell and starting to sound like a miniature James Toney. Mayweather has been irate ever since Gatti's camp almost pulled the plug on the fight when they said the Mayweather camp did sign the contract quick enough to make the promotion of the fight and Gatti's training feasible for a June fight. BoxingScene caught up with Floyd Mayweather to get his thoughts on his upcoming fight with Arturo Gatti, his personal feelings about Gatti and potential fights with Zab Judah, Oscar De La Hoya, Shane Mosley and Kostya Tszyu.

BoxingScene: The fight is finally made, you waited a long time for this.

Mayweather: I waited a long time, I waited years. This guy ran and ran until he couldn't run anymore. Gatti is scared to death of me, he tried to make every excuse not to sign this fight. They call him the blood and guts warrior, but I had to chase him to make this fight happen.

BoxingScene: The Gatti camp had a lot of issues with your personal matters.

Mayweather: His whole camp was so concerned about my personal life, they said there wasn't enough time to promote the event, there wasn't enough time for him to train. It doesn't take 15-16 weeks to train for a fight. It takes 8 weeks to train for a fight and they said that there wasn't enough time for him to get ready for a fight in June. C'mon, Gatti and his camp wanted no part of me because they know that I will break him easy. I was the mandatory since Corley and he wouldn't fight me. I had to chase him down in order to make this fight happen.

BoxingScene: You think Gatti has been over hyped as a fighter?

Mayweather: What has Gatti done? Nothing. He took some good beatings against midcard fighters like Ivan Robinson, Angel Manfredy, Micky Ward and whoever. Gatti never beat one great fighter, none. Name one big fight that Gatti won, none. I beat some of the best fighters out there. Gatti beats old fighters and his camp wants to make it seem like he beats the best fighters in the world. I couldn't even fight Leija on HBO, but Gatti could.

BoxingScene: HBO told you that Leija was not a suitable opponent.

Mayweather: HBO said it was a mismatch, but Leija is made to be a big opponent for Gatti. I wanted to fight Leija when I moved up to 140 and HBO said no. HBO said it was offensive that we even wanted to make a fight with Leija.

BoxingScene: You don't think has beat anyone close to your level of competition?

Mayweather: He never beat anybody. He beats old fighters, two of the last three fighters he fought retired right after the fight. It's not hard to see how his camp is fooling the public into thinking Gatti is a great fighter. He lost 6 times to nobodies, B class opponents and now his camp thinks he can beat the best pound for pound fighter in the world? It's an easy payday for me.

BoxingScene: What about Gatti's weight? Do you think weight will be an issue since Gatti comes in much heavier then his opponents?

Mayweather: He could come in weighing 200 and it's still an easy fight for me. Gatti's camp won't let him go on the scale before a fight because they don't want people to know that he weighs 10 or 20 pounds heavier then his opponent. He beats up an old Leija weighing 160 pounds and that's what his camp calls a great win.

BoxingScene: This fight has become a personal issues for you, you seem like your coming into this fight with something to prove.

Mayweather: They made it personal and now I'm going to punish him, break him down round by round and knock him out. This fight will be a sparring session and I'm going to punish him so bad that his corner throws in the towel. I don't have anything to prove, I'm the best pound for pound fighter in the world an anyone that knows boxing knows that I am superior to Gatti.

BoxingScene: What is your goal after the Gatti fight?

Mayweather: I want either Tszyu or De La Hoya. I'll fight anybody out there that makes sense, but Tszyu and De La Hoya are the fights I want. I've been calling them out before I even came to 140, De La Hoya is coming down to 147 and I'll willing go to 147 to make it happen. Tszyu got a big fight with Hatton, Tszyu will beat Hatton and we should fight to settle who the best fighter is at 140 pounds.

BoxingScene: Are you still interested in fighting Shane Mosley and Zab Judah?

Mayweather: Shane Mosley don't want to fight me, he had chances and he ran from me like the rest of these champions. I'll fight Shane Mosley anytime and make it easy work. A guy like Mosley is easy work for me. Zab is a close friend, I'm not looking to fight Zab, but if they can put enough dollars on the table then we can make it happen.

BoxingScene: In closing, what do you see happening come June 25th?

Mayweather: An easy win for Floyd Mayweather. People watching are going to see pain and punishment, I'm going to bring plenty of pain and deal punishment in every round until I decide to wrap it up.
