The Providence Journal reports that Vinny Pazienza, 44, is once again in trouble with the law. Paz turned himself in to Warwick police on Monday morning after being charged with domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct. He was taken to the Kent County Court House for arraignment. The paper identified the alleged victim as Paz’s girlfriend, Ashley P. Spencer, 25.

The police said they received a call at 4:14 a.m last Friday about a crying woman near the home of Paz. When officers arrived, they found Spencer with a bloody nose. After interviewing Spencer and filing a report, an arrest warrent was issued for Paz.

Paz has been arrested numerous times since 2000. Most of the arrests, including one in February, were for alcohol related charges. Paz plead no-contest to the February charge last Thursday and was fined $600 dollars, ordered to receive substance-abuse treatment and perform 60 hours of community service. Additionally, his driver’s license was revoked for 18 months.
