Japanese Busy Bee southpaw Momo Koseki (19-2-1. 5 KO's ) who's the WBC atomweight champion, chalked up the fourteenth successful defence of her title, at Adachi Ward Sogo Sports Center in Tokyo, defeating England's Denise Castle (2-1, 2KO's) by TKO  in 29 seconds of the eighth round.

The fight was stopped by the referee, when Denise Castle was about to fall to canvas following a flurry of pinpoint punches, by the more experienced champion. Koseki has now established a new mark in Japanese boxing and for this divison, by passing the thirteen consecutive world title defenses achieved by Yoko Gushiken.
