I agree. That silent and youngest Beatle guy should be the one being looked up by wannabe guitarists and not the like of Hendrix, Santana, etc.

The beatles have some of the best yet simple "pop" muscial compositions in history. Lovely transitions. Even the mastering of the album, theres a nice balance to their music.

However, guys like JH, and Santana get alot edge from just jamming out while letting the chips fall where they may. Going for the instantanous feeling or vibe they get off from their bandmates or what ever is the inspiration, and letting it run free of constraints.
