Yes today, not in the middle of a crucial trilogy.

EM comes from a 122-126 lbs..

and when he gets to 130-135. he is drained! LOL

nice analysis. is EM a 140-147 pounder?? ahahaha

it is not the look.. it is the way he feels on that weight.

can he maintain power , speed and etc???

if he cant make 130.. then he should have fought at 135-140 and why fighting

pacman a nobody in 130 the first fight that he won...

losing to rahim and losing to pacman is a very very different fight.

The zahir raheem fight was relevent because he had to move BACK down to the weight limit for the 2nd fight.

The david diaz fight was after the pacquaio trilogy. I put the picture there to show that it was a healthy weight for him at the time.

You talk about maintaining power and speed but all you have to do is look at the state of morales legs in the second fight and compare them with the first. They were clearly drained. Morales even admitted after the fight that his legs couldn't hold him up any longer. This is a clear indication of being weight drained.

Morales even admitted that he was killing himself to make the weight limit for the 2nd fight.

Erik morales himself made statements after the fight that corroborated what we saw at the weigh in. I cant find them at the moment, but I'll try and fetch them out.

            Here are some other quotes:

"There were questions about Morales’ struggle to make weight, once again. He seems to torture himself to make weight. He looked dried up and weakened during the official weigh-in. Ayala made the 126-pound weight easily and even looked good doing so."

"After watching this slaughter, we saw Erik Morales go from the division limit of 126 pounds, which he made at the weigh-in on a retry, to 141 pounds before he left his dressing room the following evening. The much bigger Morales stopped Fernando Bobby Boy Velardez at 1:02 of round five. Erik had such a tough time making weight that he vowed never to fight at 126 pounds again, and he will only meet Marco Antonio Barrera if Barrera steps up to meet him at 128 pounds. "
