  • Comments Thread For: Sergey Kovalev's Manager on New Coach: He's a Real Trainer!

Former unified light heavyweight world champion Sergey "Krusher" Kovalev (30-2-1, 26 KOs) did a lot of soul-searching after his controversial loss to Andre "S.O.G" Ward over the summer in Las Vegas, Nevada. Stop it please! You weren’t singing this tune when the Krusher was winning and knocking everybody out. He got beat by the pound for pound and all of a sudden that discredits Jackson, please! Jackson is a very good trainer, Krusher just happen to meet his match, now he’ll start beating some bums and you’ll think you have the greatest trainer

kovalev always brings excitement to his fights, picking him to k.o shabranskyy only if he isn't mentally there will an upset be possible..else he's just gonna resume knocking out all these other light heavyweights by setting right hands with his fast accurate jab

p4p lost the first fight in the eyes of the world except for a few nut huggers here at nsb.
the 2nd fight hr was loosing except for on single blow to the head and many low blows.

Whatever you want to say is alright, deep down inside you know the truth and you feel that pain inside and you will die knowing your fighter was nothing but a dirty cheat.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Kovalev is a great one dimensional fighter and no guy his age is going to learn how to fight inside, he can tweak things here and there but Kovalev is set in his ways
Hes still a great fighter but i dont expect this new coach to correct his mistakes anytime soon

A great or very good fighter doesn't need a cornerman to tell him what to do during a fight. He should know what's working well and what isn't.
