It's been all of 2 1/2 weeks since Floyd Mayweather officially announced his retirement from the sport, yet he remains in the public spotlight. On Tuesday, it was in the role of lead promoter for the most recent edition of Premier Boxing Champions (PBC): Toe-to-Toe Tuesday on Fox Sports 1 at The Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The show was headlined by Javier Fortuna in a 10th round stoppage of overmatched Carlos Ivan Velasquez in a super featherweight bout. Though the card as a whole relevant to Mayweather given his name was on the show, the former pound-for-pound king had a vested interest through a number of his fighters in action, including unbeaten cruiserweight Andrew Tabiti who scored a 2nd round knockout in a televised swing bout.

Mayweather joined the broadcast table during Tabiti's bout, which was over in a hurry. However, it lasted just long enough for the commentating team of Mauro Ranallo, Paul Malignaggi and Virgil Hunter to ask him about his still-fresh retirement following his September 12 points win over Andre Berto, running his career mark to a perfect 49-0 (26KOs).

At one point, Ranallo even tried to suggest that there is still one more fight left in the career of the richest boxer in history, though ever the defensive wizard, the former pound-for-pound king stuck to his guns.

"I'm not coming back, but..." Mayweather teased at one point, before expressing his being content with playing a more active role in Mayweather Promotions. "I'm just happy to be on the other side."
